My name is Nadalia and I am a Technical Training Analyst for "a leading provider of decision-making technology and information that helps reduce fraud and mitigate risk" in Alpharetta, GA. I am happily married to WoadWolf and we have 3 cats. Harley, Riannon Marie (Ria for short) and Maya.
Harley is about 5 years old and is a striped gray and black cat with a white tummy. He's very calm and is always willing to sit on our laps and let us pet him.
Ria is a mess and is about 2 years old. I had to give her a middle name so I could yell at her when she's in trouble. She's a dark calico with a teddy bear face and has the softest fur I have ever felt on a cat.
Maya is the most recent addition to the family. She's a dilute calico, with her light gray and tan coloring she looks ghost-like. She also likes to sit on our laps but not for too long, since she and Ria like to play together a lot.
Some of my favorite hobbies are reading, crochet, and bellydance. I haven't danced as part of a troup in a few years now, but I still enjoy it when my friends and I get together.
The books I enjoy most are murder mysteries. I especially like Stuart Woods, Diane Mott Davidson and Lillian Jackson Braun's books. I also enjoy some Sci-Fi books but I like the ones that are more about magic and mythical creatures than the ones about spaceships and the future. I've reviewed some books in the Library.
Crochet is one of my newer hobbies, I only started to learn in 2004. I enjoy making scarves and cat beds and other things out of normal yarn, but I really like working with plastic grocery bags. I cut them into strips then loop the strips together to make a yarn and I crochet purses and tote bags from it. It makes for a very sturdy bag and it's even machine washable. If you want to see some, or maybe even buy one, you can see them in my Walk-in Closet and in my Craft Room.
